Rakhi Making Activty
On the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, we celebrated Rakshabandhan in the school. On this day, sisters of all ages tie a bracelet, a talisman, or an amulet, called a Rakhi, around the wrists of their brothers, symbolically protecting them, receiving a gift in return, and traditionally investing the brothers with a share of the responsibility of their potential care.
So for making this day special we told students from 6-12 to make Rakhis and candles and these would be sent to the brave soldiers of our country as a gesture of respect. It was a great activity, we collected the rakhis and candles and packed them properly and then sent it to the dainik jagran office. from the dainik jagran ( a newspaper compnay) the rakhis were to be sent to the soldiers.
